Beeses

Despite it being cold, overcast and a bit windy we decided to go down to Beeses this afternoon for a drink with a Spanish friend who lives in Bristol. To get there we cycled down along the St George side of the river, chained up the bikes and called the ferryman to come and take us back across to the opposite side of the river in the small ferry (the tiny boat on the left of the photo). It costs 50p for the return trip. Our friend loved it.
