"Alas too late"

Today was the rededication of the Old Market cross in Old Glossop. It was held from 12 noon to 6, but sadly the rain started about 3 and when I arrived at 3.45 everyone had dispersed and they few that wee left were packing away their tents and gazebos.
This lovely young lady did me a dance around the cross just to make me feel better as she knew I was sad to have missed all the celebrations :-)
