Luna Moth

This morning my wife rescued a Luna moth she found struggling in the pool. She got it out and the moth decided it wanted to crawl up her arm and rest on her shoulder. It stayed there for over two hours drying off and trying to regain strength to fly. Eventually it started flapping it‘s wings and flew off. 
However Luna moths only live for one day to a week. They don’t eat, they only try to reproduce after which time the female will day. So maybe it only had today, but it was a beautiful day and it got to fly again.
