Footloose

The well worn hiking boots, socks, and orthortic inserts were sitting on a picnic table outside of Look About Lodge where I stopped in desperation after several unsuccessful blip attempts.  Not a soul was in sight.  The scene struck me as comical, so I took two shots.  Did they leave barefoot? 

This evening we went to listen to John Grabowski, PhD, author, Case Western Reserve University professor and Western Reserve Historical Society Krieger Mueller Chief Historian.  He grew up in Cleveland and devoted his life's work to studying and compiling the history of Cleveland.  We have some of his books and really enjoyed hearing him talk about Immigration and Migration to Cleveland since the late 1700s.
