We’ve had the strangest eight months.
In January, a consultant told my hubby ‘You’ll be here a lot’.
Well, he wasn’t wrong.
After many tests, phone calls, meetings and more tests, and eight months of him not being able to work, daughter and I dropped off my lovely hubby here this afternoon.
In the next few hours, the cardiac surgical team will hopefully fix his heart and have him all patched up.
It’ll be a long op and a very long recovery period.
It all feels very weird and a bit scary but we entrust ourselves to the Lord.
Overwhelmed by the amount of people who have been in touch to assure us of their thoughts and prayers.

Very grateful for the NHS and the team here at the hospital.
Took this as we waited in a very long queue to pay for the parking!
