Just one of those days

My day has been plagued by gypsies. They arrived on the park about two miles from home last week but our totally inept council and police have failed to move them on. I heard today they had been stealing from shops on the High Street so I messaged my hairdressers to make sure they were ok as I’m due to visit on Wednesday. They plan to keep the door locked and let people in when they arrive.
Then this evening a call from the garden centre to say gypsies had arrived in the car park. Thankfully due to the quick response from staff on site and the rapid response from Lichfield police they have been moved on. Just to set my mind at rest we had a quick drive over to make the cabin was ok. The car wash in the car park has been trashed but everything else is ok.
When we got home hubby said put some chill music on and my Spotify played walking in the rain…the irony of it…still waiting for rain.
A phone call this evening to say a family member is very unwell, all in all a day to forget.
