Sunny Sunday in the garden.

I had invited my family over for the afternoon as a late celebration of my birthday.

Received a phone call at lunchtime from mum saying she couldn't come, it was too hot and she's been feeling the affects of the heat. Shame but I do understand.

All the food I prepared was well received and it was complimented by some lovely brownies and birthday cake made by RF, thank you.

We had a great afternoon and after everyone had gone there were when some clouds in the sky, perhaps the rain dance is having an effect!
