Mirabilis in the rain

Since arriving in the garden courtesy of friend I who 'raised' these for me, the Mirabilis flowers have remained stubbornly closed. Then today it rained (just a little) and out they came to see what's going on! Snapped 'em quick before they curled up again. These are a very pretty shade of pink, my Mirabilis in England were magenta, yellow, and a mix of both.

Been hard at it today, a little writing and then a lot of catching up to do with work.
