Edinburgh festival fringe

After a fairly quiet day, I headed into town to meet my friend Fiona to soak some fringe ambience. It was sunny when I left the house to catch the bus but musty and wet by the time I made it in Edinburgh. Luckily I had my trusty umbrella!

The rain didn’t last and we had a lovely time catching up on our news before booking last minute tickets to see a comedian, David O’Doherty. He was fabulous - funny, engaging and a little bit irreverent.
We then enjoyed a delicious aubergine pizza and a wee drink before realising it was 10pm and time to head home as Fiona had work on Monday.

Loved the vibe in George square gardens.
