Men's final

I had intended to join a French walking group for a long walk today but was not able to in the end. Instead I went to watch the finals of the tennis tournament. The ladies final was won by a player from a local club. One of our own club members, a young lad of only 14, contested the men's final. He is off to tennis school next year and has a bright future ahead of him I suspect. On this occasion his opponent, a very good defender, was too wily and won in two sets. Both matches were very entertaining to watch. 
On the way back from the art group in the afternoon, we called in to see ex blipper, Bundle, who is renting a house with friends for the week. We stopped for tea and biscuits and started a catch up which we will continue at a local restaurant tomorrow evening.
