The boulder bed

Once again we've not been off the premises.

We started the day with conversations with our conveyancer and also the Estate Agents.  We are struggling to understand why our buyers want to delay exchange until the same day as completion - and no-one has really managed to explain this.  And it's now evening, and we still are no closer to exchange.

But then our removal/storage firm threw us a curve ball - we had provisionally booked them for Monday next week, and they had promised not to book anything else in without warning us.  But they phoned us today, said they had now booked someone in for Monday, and could they come on Thursday this week instead?!!!!!!  At the time, W was raking up the grass cuttings from the meadow (we cut it down last week because it was well past it).  

So now we have committed to removal/storage on Thursday/Friday.  We have told our conveyancer and asked if completion can be brought forward to the end of the week, or at worst to next Monday.  Can anything else go wrong?
