St Peters Church - Lilley

A relatively quiet day today. Cut the grass for the mother in law. She said that she had cut both front and back lawns and that they just needed strimming. She was right about the front lawn, but the back lawn hadn't been touched. I suspect she had intended to do it but not gotten round to it but convinced herself that she had. Anyway, I said nothing and gave it a quick cut withour her noticing.

Had to have a power nap today. Very unusual for me but I didn't sleep well last night. Too tired I think.

Had Rachel and Ross round for dinner. Made corned beef and onion pie - an old family favourite (and I'm talking my family when we were kids here). Funny how certain dishes can evoke such vivid memories and this is one that does it for me. Should have been served with home made chips and processed peas to really do it justice, but we did crushed new potatoes (sorry mum).

Rosina showed off some clothes that she brought yesterday. one was a full length dress with a cut out back. Apparantly when she tried it on in the fitting room she came out and said to her mum that there was no way she could wear this as it was too revealing. Turns out she had it on back to front so that the cut out back revealed her abdomen and with a slight breeeze would have revealed her bust as well - she is so dizzy.
