Flaming red

Spent much of the day in the garden attacking the weeds and tidying up a bit, created a little rockery at the bottom end where nothing much will grow.

Had a bit of a play with my 50mm lens and macro filters too, spoilt for choice for a blip but at least got a few ideas for later in the week if the weather is fit and nothing more interesting comes along.

This is my Pieris, love it at this time of year. It won't stay this colour for long so thought I should take advantage.

Ended the day with a bit of baking and cooking, and then banished the grey hairs for a few more weeks!
