Mom, should I buy these shoes?

That was my daughters question to me yesterday. Les Galeries Lafayette offer the most varied and fancy shopping possibilities in the big cities in France. As they will leave Antibes and go on their monster tour of 22 hours of driving all the way from The Côte d’Azur back home to Hamburg in Northern Germany, I could understand that she was looking for something nice as a souvenir.
I thought that the shoes looked cute.

I would have wished , also for the little grandkids, that they had chosen to do the drive back home in three days. Sounds less stressful to me
