Storm clouds

The thunder seemed to rattle around and above us for ages this morning and there was the occasional flash of lightening within the clouds. It grew so dark I had to switch on the lights. Eventually, the rain came.

I was pleased that Bertie wasn’t at all afraid of the thunder, just a bit curious, looking for the source of all that noise.

The extra shows a surprise bouquet from N of dahlias, sunflowers and other flowers I can’t name. He had purchased them locally from a couple who grow vegetables and flowers on their woodland croft.
