Wondrous

I find myself becoming more emotional about things like theatre, opera, live music, and circus is just so all encompassing. Cirque du Soleil’s Corteo has me wondering about the lives and dedication of the artists, the power of their bodies and the power of the imagination. Counterbalances, springs and levers, weights, pillows, pulleys, balloons and glitter, muscle, grit and infinite hours of practice somehow result in elegance and weightlessness. As one character says, “It’s mathematics!” Mind blowing mathematics. I will dream in another universe tonight I hope.
