Rain !

After dreadful hot night (30s much of it) there was one clap of thunder, some lightening and some rain. What a telief as temps mid 20s all day with showers too.

We went for a walk in the woods under the dripping trees and it was very pleasant. Gyp really enjoyed it.

But the fires continue to be a problem as it seems they can smoulder underground for a long time. Many August 15th festivities will be banned from having fireworks.
And we saw this worrying notice in the woods.
