Unwelcome..

I inherited my small pond when I bought my house. It had goldfish in it initially but is now home to newts.
In all this time I’ve never had any duckweed until this summer. One of birds that use it must have had brought it in and in the last few weeks it’s covered the pond.
I’m not sure Il will be able to completely eradicate it but when it cools down I’ll try and remove some.
