Waders

Another scorching day. D decided to get his waders on and clean the river. He filled 2 buckets with bottles and broken glass and also pulled out enormous pieces of metal and some wood which looked like part of a bench from the church ‘Peace Garden’.
Poppy was working all day and Alfie arrived back from Liv’s. It’s been a stressful few days for him because their dog died while he was there and then he got a puncture. It was nice to be together and have a meal and a catch up with just the 4 of us which seems to happen less and less these days.
