Sweltering

Today has been so hot!

Awake at 6:30am, decided MY turn to go out for a cycle - needed to try my baboon bottom leggings out and new gloves - only out for about 30 mins, lovely ride, quiet and a good start to getting on my bike (ready for our hols next month).

Once home, cooked a cake then ready do some gardening by 10am. Had to keep coming in to sit down in front of the fan, to have a cold glass of water, to cool down. Oscar happy to lay down and chill in the garden.

Lunch midday then hubby wanted to go for a drive. I had something to give to my brother, so checked they were in and popped over to them. Sat in the garden chatting - no air but nice being outside.

Back home, dropped round to our daughter to drop off a car seat and collect Poppy who is coming for a holiday.

Restful evening on the cards.
Extra - butterfly ready to be released - of the 10 caterpillars, all turned to chrysalis but only 8 emerged into butterflies - going to be released tonight.
