On my long walk with Django this morning, I noticed that the entrance to Penicuik Old House was open, so we went in to explore. It was closed up in February 2020 when it was clearly not a good time to start the planned extension to the café, and it's been shut ever since. It's a positive move, as the Estate has shown every sign of discouraging visitors in the past couple of years. 

Afterwards, I watched a little sport, before heading into Edinburgh to see Mum and do our shopping.
