Early

The field behind our house tends to get a bit forgotten by the farmer who rents it who lives  some miles away. It never seems to do very well, and this year with dry conditions and hot hot weather it  has produced a very poor and patchy  crop of broad beans. ( either for animal feed or protein powder)
Last night it was almost dark and the farmer started to harvest the crop. They stopped when it was dark but were back on the task again about 6 o’clock this morning. I took the photo at 7.40. Very early for me! All done now and looks a lot better. I wonder what they will grow next.
