Crathes Castle Parkrun

As I was staying in Aboyne, the local parkrun was a 30 min drive away at Crathes Castle.

We all left and my Aboyne friends came to cheer me on including Jackson the terrier.

The course was very nice. A killer hill to finish but I managed a respectable 25:18 which I’ll take for a new hilly course. A nice bunch of parkrunners and volunteer team too.

Afterwards we went to Banchory for BBQ supplies then myself and Andy walked the 8 mile round trip from Aboyne to Dinnet along the Deeside Way for a couple of pints at the Loch Kinord Hotel (the only pub in town).

MrsT and L arrived about the same time as we returned so we all had a nice bbq, a few drinks and a good catch up.
