A garden party

Today we all went to cousin Diane's home for Josh's 35th birthday celebration. The twins had a wonderful time in her very large back garden, blowing bubbles, playing with buckets of water, and helping to shuck the corn that was to be cooked for our dinner. She has a flock of very large chickens of many different varieties that wander around the property, and we saw some rabbits too.  I find Diane's garden very difficult to navigate as it is very uneven with mole holes, long grass and remnants of long-gone plants, and my walker was useless. Fortunately Doug was happy to lend his arm while I used my cane and moving about became a lot easier. But it was a real strain and left me exhausted.

Because we got together today we won't be having Twinsday tomorrow. And they are all going to Lake Chelan for a week starting Thursday, so I'll have to miss another Twinsday.
