Fly Like an Eagle

Talons outstretched the sea eagle came screeching in to pick up the fish floating on the water surface. Stunning to see in the sunshine today on board the Lady Jane as we cruised Loch Na Keal here on Mull.

It has been an unbelievable day with dolphins everywhere, following the boat, cruising in the bow wake and making a bait ball in the water which ended up under the boat. To add to this we had Minke whales coming in for the action which occasionally  cruised under the boat with the photographers on deck rapidly changing sides to get the fin curving out of the water amongst the dozens of dolphins and dolphin breaches, for a good hour. I've never seen anything like this even though we have done a fair bit of diving in our time. It was all enhanced by the clarity of the water and the sunshine; we just didn't know where to point the lens first.
