Poppy

Some visitors to the Dower House I don’t evict in a tumbler and this is one of them-Poppy from Orkney. She is staying the night with me before journeying forth to Lanark tomorrow. We have eaten, drunk, walked and talked and we are now sitting outside at 7pm with the sun on a busy Meadows and a glass of wine to hand.

It’s been a beautiful day again although the morning haar at first light had me thinking the recent Northern Isles weather had come with the visitor. However the haar burned off and we were left with sunshine and blue skies again, but I can’t help noticing the weather warnings popping up on my phone , seems like we are in for some heavy thundershowers coming our way soon. Still, it was all wonderful while it lasted.
