Pigeon Hiding From The Heat

The windows were finished and the workmen left at lunch time. After lunch I put up four curtain poles and hung five sets of clean curtains. One curtain pole was not removed so that was one job I did not have to do.
 
Today’s picture is of a Wood Pigeon which appeared to be trying to find some shade and had settled in the branches of as tree opposite my home.
 
The temperature at noon today was thirty degrees Celsius.
