Up and Away

After a cold night in the Yurt, we three intrepid explorers ventured out into the Lakes. It was a lovely day, albeit a bit chilly compared to East Africa; that said, there's something refreshing about being cold that perpetual warmth can't match. In particular, going from cold to warm brings with it a very special feeling. The day saw some climbing, some crazy golf, and a lakeside barbeque as a hot air balloon passed over the hills. The evening passed with poker for matchsticks and semi-successful attempts at keeping a fire running. A lovely day in excellent company.
