I saw a mouse...where?

there in the shade! right there!  myself and the field mice in the garden hung out in the shade at the bottom of the garden first thing this morning - a dunnock and robin came and joined us for a while too!

And the rest of the day has been spent indoors, watching a few bits on Youtube, sport watching/listening and reading - Booth by Karen Joy Fowler !
