Well I Never…

I was sitting out in the garden again today, watching the birds and, lo and behold, look who arrived on the nut feeder - I am convinced that it is the same bird as yesterday’s blip!

The rather odd upward lighting (in both yesterday’s and today’s photos) is, I think caused by sun shining directly onto a patch of withered, yellow grass directly below the forsythia bush and reflecting back up into the dark canopy.

For a bit of variety I also photographed a geranium (see extra) - the background is a large holly bush about five metres behind the flower, so it is rendered out of focus.
