Festival Village, Waverley Mall

Late this afternoon I had some chores to do at the east end of Princes Street.  It's the first week of the Festival and it was a blisteringly hot and sunny 28 degrees. The top of the Waverley Shopping Mall, next to the Balmoral Hotel, is turned into a pop-up food and drink venue for the festivals - as you can see it was hooching.
