Flowers for a friend

Today I went to visit my dear friend A and her daughter S, accompanied by daughter #1.  I had hoped, along with S, that Violet would be able to come too but she was otherwise engaged.  Poor S did miss Violet very much and so her mummy is going to try to arrange a meet up for the girls, with daughter #2,  before the Autumn term starts.
We did have a lovely day, with lots of catching up to do.  Not once did we venture outside though as her garden is always in sun and today was yet another very hot one.
