The Drought Continues

The high tempartures are gradually falling in Fife to around 20-22C. There has been very little rain and the countryside is developing all shades of brown, as today’s entry shows quite clearly.

There is also low lying cloud and a mist rolling in from the sea. It feels like rain should fall, however it does not.

It is uncomfortable but it must much worse further south and in mainland Europe where rivers are so low as to be unnavigable by the larger ships.

All sorts of exhortations are issued by water companies to cut down water usage, but no mention is made about the amount of water lost through their leaking water pipes.

Westminster fiddles while the Disunited Kingdom burns!

My time learning Latin and Roman History at school has not been a complete waste.
