Nate Date

We spent some time in Decathlon today getting a tent for a friend who's been evicted from the area he's made into a home for the past 3 years. He's very upset, especially as he's got 2 cats who were feral but now stick close to him. The town hall are putting in a car park. He asked if we'd get a tent that he could have as a home...now begins the challenge of finding a secluded spot to put it up. We also had to get decent sandals for a homeless woman who's feet are in agony in cheap flip flops all day every day.
Asha headed off to see Charlie for the afternoon (after a spot of spray painting - see her blip), Danny went to work on his dissertation, and Nate and I used up our last 2 cinema tickets (we bought a batch a few weeks ago which wrks out way cheaper). A Nate date! He was so appreciative of everything, and delighted when the popcorn lady gave him a little bag of sweets as an extra. To be honest the film was a bit rubbish, but he was vey happy with the whole experience! It's so good separating the kids and having 1-1 time with each other them. He nattered non stop the entire walk there and back.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Having a home and a family, and a support network that would hopefully catch us before we ended up in too horrendous a situation.
2) Nate being an appreciative soul.
3) Asha's delight at seeing the cat outside the supermarket. She hung out with him whilst we did the shopping.
