Gruffy Ground

This is a photograph of artist and photographer Christina White reflected in the glass covering one of her magnificent enlargements. We went to see her exhibition at the Museum in Wells, opposite Wells Cathedral. She has been taking photographs of the landscape around Priddy, on the Mendip hills, deeply scarred by the lead mining that goes back to Roman times.
