Stranger Things!

We have a gate to the outside-inside of our house, but not to the upside-down.
You'd have to be a fan of Netflix's 'Stranger Things' to get that by the way!
The gate is an ingenious idea, by Marlane of course, so that the front door can be kept open without Jonty, or F.M.i.L., escaping. Jonty is not tall enough to open it and F.M.i.L, is just not able to figure it out.
I thought another 'Gate' was opening up (see Extra) but it's just another hole in the house to let hot air escape up into the attic space.
Temperature is still in the mid 30's Centrigrade, over 95f for our North American cousins, and other relatives :-)
We do have a couple of mobile air conditioners, Marlane uses one and the other was for Betty's bedroom but she doesn't like it. Must admit I have a dislike of air-conditioning, and for central heating come to that. Must be all those years in the Middle East, in Oman we only had a ceiling fan in the four man rooms, which was the standard RAF accommodation. See the other Extra, that's me in 1968-69 standing in the middle of the accommodation block where I lived when stationed at RAF Masirah, Oman. In the background there is one section of the square which contained toilets, showers, washing facilities, fridge and freezer.
