The Scallop, Aldeburgh

I love everything about this sculpture by Maggi Hambling . However, Apparently it’s a very ‘marmite’ thing amongst locals . 
We walked along the prom’ - Aldeburgh had a jolly atmosphere and again was busy but not overrun like the Dorset Coast . 
We tried to see if the cinema was open but no luck so we went back to Saxmundham for me to prepare for my journey home . 
A quick look at Google Maps told me the roads were horrendously busy so I decided to wait until the next day to drive home. We had a really chilled evening chatting and watching television.
