Hatless in a Heatwave

I popped out this morning to deliver a birthday card through a friend’s letterbox before it got too hot. Nevertheless it was still very sunny and I had an umbrella over me so I would stay in the shade. I’ve got to the age when I don’t care any more what people think!

I spotted this child’s hat on a bench on the Green. I hope it is reunited with its owner soon.
