A lot of trees are so heat-stressed that they're shedding leaves and seeds early.

Coffee and delicious cake with the Wild Girls this morning, although we had to come indoors from Sally's garden after half an hour. Walking under the trees in the old cemetery this afternoon, and washing the few summer dresses I have as I seem to be getting through them very quickly. Generally I only need to wear one or two at most during a normal summer, but what's "normal" any more?
