It was clear even on Wednesday that the flower arrangement wasn’t going to last very long in the current heat with the stems in a block of oasis, so that evening I decided to dismantle it.

I now have 2 vases with the taller flowers in, 1 jug and 4 mugs. Didn’t have any vases for the short stems so had to improvise. There’s a lovely fragrance in the house which I think is the freesias.

Not much thought went into the photo . . . . I blame the heat.

Much of the morning was spent on the phone and iPad. Think I only have the house insurance to sort now. I may be changing insurer.
