Mont Blanc

Everywhere you go in this valley the mountain of Mont Blanc dominâtes the view. Today was no different. We took the train to Chamonix, went up on the Brevent cable car and walked along the High Balcon route to La flegere. Stunning views all along the route (see Extras). There was a huge rock fall around the mid way station on the Aiguille du Midi that we heard from the other side of the valley. Twenty minutes after it stopped we could still see dust.

This evening we will eat in a restaurant in Vallorcine before driving home.
