Sunflowers

Most of the sunflowers in the fields around Susie's house have gone over now but we spotted a little plantation of them on our way into Riberac market this morning which still looked quite fresh.  I hopped out of the car and took a few quick shots, it being so hot and all. It's now 6:30pm local time and I'm sitting in the shade on Susie's terrace uploading my photos and the temperature guage on my laptop says it's104 degrees (40 degrees C) so as you can imagine it's pretty warm!  And I'm now going to plop into the pool again and cool down - bliss!
