Hot cat on a hot day

It is tough keeping cool when you are an elderly cat with a fluffy coat.  Fortunately large parts of it have been cut off already.  Taz isn't grooming himself very well, so as well as brushing I now have to attack the clumps with scissors at regular intervals.  This does have the added advantage of discouraging him from trying to sit on my keyboard too often or for too long.
No allotment visit today, but I have ordered some veg plants for autumn planting in the polytunnel and outside on the plot. I'm splitting them with another plot holder.  They are "garden ready" so will save us both a bit of time we hope.
