I have spent hours on the phone reporting the sad fact that the registration plates of my car have been stolen.
Police: please speak to our voicemail (no crime number given)
DVLA: can we start with the crime number please?  No
Insurance company: we are too busy, please let us call you back.

Something to do I guess
