100 Pounds of Blueberries
Hard-working, torn and dirty, a wagon with a failing left-front wheel - nothing put a damper on a perfectly gorgeous morning in Corbett. The blueberries fell with barely a touch, right into the buckets we wore tied with rope around our waists. We bought a half-membership for 100 pounds, and picked them in record time (under 2 hours), with cheery help from Dianne.
On the way home we stopped at the Women's Forum for a view of the Columbia. See Extra.
Once home, we quickly sorted through the berries, and filled gallon and quart zip lock bags. Now the freezer barely has room for anything else.
