Botanic sculpture

This sculpture was made by blacksmiths at Anwick Forge, Nr Sleaford. It depicts plant species brought back to England by botanist Sir Joseph Banks from his travels around the world. He came from this area of Lincolnshire. Many of his exhibits are in the National History Museum. The sculpture is on the Spa Trail just outside Woodhall Spa.
