Festival fail

In to town with MrKT - car to Musselburgh and then cycled in through Portobello and Leith.
Our aim was a BBC show at the St James Quarter. Free tickets that are allocated through a lottery - I tried for various shows so was pleased to get this one. However .. they over allocate the tickets and by the time we turned up the show was full. Grrr.
So second choice, but not second best - we followed a choir who had been performing outside(missed that) along to the Catholic Cathedral round the corner. They had been invited in to sing a couple of numbers - wow, they were amazing, gave me goose bumps!
Never been in the Cathedral before, it’s rather lovely.
Cycled back to the car via Porty - the beach was packed with families enjoying the sun.
