Adult katydid

To my chagrin, the praying mantis has decamped from the rubber tree. Briefly the mantis and the katydid occupied different leaves of the tree simultaneously and I thought the katydid might make a meal for the mantis but that didn't happen. Instead we have just the katydid. I had to poke the lens through some bushes to get this shot.

Thanks again for all your well wishes. Feeling much better now at the end of a near normal day. Tomorrow will be great.
