A Bee and His Shadow

The Rose of Sharon is at peak bloom now.  It is a lovely contrast to all the yellow and white in the back garden.  This little bee was just resting on a leaf, enjoying the sun?  Well, I am really enjoying the change in the weather.  Our heatwave is over and normal summer temperatures are here.  I think all creatures great and small are breathing a sigh of relief.  Another heavy rain last night so everything is fresh and green this morning.
