Early morning in the garden.

Just having my breakfast.
About to make coffee.
It’s so nice having a cooling breeze blowing in through the wide open patio door just now.
Predicted high today of 33C.
We’re going visit a friend this afternoon.
My friend Bobbie came yesterday afternoon. (The one who had a stroke and who’s speech still isn’t too good).
Stephen had made scones so we had them with butter and strawberry jam.
We sat in the back lounge where I am now, as it was too hot to sit outside, even in the shade. She only stayed for an hour this time due to the heat. Next time, (if we get another heatwave) we will postpone till it’s cooler.
We aren’t used to these high temperatures here.
It makes me think of Blipper amando Alentejo in Portugal, where they live with higher temperatures and at the moment extreme drought conditions, desperately in need of rain there. I’ll attach a link to her at the end.
In the meantime, a small plane is droning across the blue sky, a white butterfly is flitting about, bees are busy in the lavender, the sparrows are chirpy, and it’s time for a freshly brewed coffee.
The photo was taken from the summerhouse.
Link to the aforementioned blipper.
